The Science Behind Aquafacial

Hydrocleanse is the technology that blends Cleanface Co.’s facial device, the Aquafacial, with its proprietary Aquafacial Cleansing Serum for a unique at-home facial experience.  The serum is a specialized, low viscosity, anti-foaming solution explicitly formulated to optimize performance with the Aquafacial . Used in conjunction, the serum and Aquafacial device deliver a safe, clinically effective skin resurfacing treatment.

The Aquafacial Process

What’s involved? The Aquafacial process can be described in three easy steps:

1) PREP

Ensure your face is clean and free from makeup and other products.

2) LOAD

Add enough Aquafacial Cleansing Serum for one use to the Serum Jar.

3) ACTIVATE

Turn on the Aquafacial, select a setting, then move the tip across your face to test suction. The Aquafacial may need to be “primed” if no serum flow. To do this, place the tip on your thumb or the back of your hand for a few seconds, then release. Repeat this step a few times and you should be good to go.

When you’re finished using the Aquafacial, you’ll be able to see for yourself what’s been extracted from your skin by taking a peak at what has been collected in what we call the “Junk Jar.”

Selected based on their suction power, serum flow, tip angle, and suitability for specific use cases, the three tips are included with every Aquafacial purchase and cater to different areas of the face and body and address varying cleansing needs. 

• Gentle Cleansing Tip: This tip, perfect for larger areas like the forehead, cheeks, and neck, provides a mild yet effective cleanse. It's ideal for everyday use and those with sensitive skin.
• Pro Cleansing Tip: For a deeper clean and to target stubborn blackheads or impurities, the Pro Cleansing Tip comes into play. This stronger option might be used as needed or 2-3 times a week for those with oily or congested skin.
• Fine Tip: Reaching those delicate areas around the eyes, nose, and mouth requires precision. The Fine Tip tackles these hard-to-reach zones with a gentle touch, ensuring a thorough cleanse without irritation.
